Meridian Therapies (EFT)

The roots of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) lie in Clinical Psychology, Applied Kinesiology and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine holds the view that physical vitality and peace of mind are reliant upon the clear and even flow of the energy pathways (meridians) through the body. If these energy pathways become disrupted then illness and emotional problems can arise. EFT, or ‘tapping’ as it is commonly called, is an energy therapy which helps to return body, mind and feelings to their natural state of balance and harmony.

EFT can be used effectively on a whole range of emotional and physical issues, including pain control, anxiety, fears/phobias, post traumatic stress (PTSD), and many more. The therapy can also help you to eliminate limiting beliefs that have been holding you back, helping you to let go of issues so that you can move forward in a more positive direction.

The EFT sequence involves tapping on specific meridian points with the finger tips, while holding an awareness of the issue you wish to clear.

Learning the EFT technique is relatively straightforward and will provide you with a positive self-help tool for personal development.
